Family Law

We have handled thousands of cases over a period of decades, including concentrating in divorce, marital property division, alimony, maintenance, child and spousal support or alimony, child custody, visitation and visitation abuse, DCFS investigations, non-minor support, contempt of court, criminal contempt of court for not paying child support, adoptions, parental rights, father’s rights, mother’s rights, probate and estate revisions, civil unions, gay marriage, alternative lifestyle arrangements, dissolution of civil unions and many other family issues.

In regard to custody disputes, we have experienced attorneys that have the skill and understanding you need to fight for your rights and your child’s best interests.  If child custody mediation does not work, we can request the court to appoint a lawyer to represent the interests of the child.  Even after a custody agreement has been reached, circumstances can change and we help clients through any modification process that may be recommended.  We are frequently consulted in regard to non-minor support, such as with respect to college education and expenses.
